Twas the night before Labour day when all through the house,
race-season plans were discussed with my spouse.
The old ‘Road to Kona’ tri mag we read
And visions of Japan bagan to dance in our heads
When we jumped on the net with excitement and chatter
No info for '08 could be found; what’s the matter?
I am new to slowtwitch, but you folks see to know
things like “Is IM Japan 2008, a go?”
On to next season’s races… I can’t believe that it’s fall!
Now post away, post away, post away all.
It’s one of the oldest races in the series (New Zealand, Japan, and Canada were the first official Ironman races besides Kona**). I’d be very surprised if it wasn’t pretty much the same date as last year.
I was feeling disinclined to make assumptions after planning on the 101 in Texas (like this other guy I heard of).
Does seem like a much safer bet. Thanks.
Nice work at IMC by the way.
Yeah. I think this is a pretty safe bet. I’m planning on IMC for next year and am not too worried!
I was thinking about going to Japan, but they are too close…
