cervelo once again dominated the bike transition…there is so many of them.,…a lot of P3C and P2c… but also a lot of Dual…and p2k
kuota is a big mover also…a lot of them !!!
as for the pro bikes…
lets go with
Heather fuhr

Scott curry
very agressive position with a funny seat angle…pointing up…also…very interesting watter bottle at the back…they are horizontal!!!..scott is on conti tubular also
Spencer smiths
ok…spencer is riding tufo tubular!!! yep…he dosnt want anymore flat!!! i didnt like the pic of his bike on the net but to see the bike today…i have to admit it s one beautfull machine…it look so good…one of the best in transition…it s fame is very small…and everything is matching on this bike…i like it alot!!!

sorry for the weird angle of pictures…i didint want to touch any bikes…
now…my award to the most weird/non aero/what the hell set up!!!
from a guy how paid 13k for is frame…it look like a freaking giraffe…it s awsome frame but the aero purpose of it is completly ruin by the terrible position… ok…it s only a opinion and i havent seen the rider on it…but when you look at the bike level…the aero pads are at the same height as the saddle…i just wanted to share this pic…with you all…
Let s follow my my favority picks…i like bikes a lot and my P3C is my favorite…but i play the game of…if the p3 wasnt there…what will make me feel special!!!

And finally…my special pick of the day for a bike is the Kuota K-Factor…i never saw one for real and i was plesantly suprise…i like the look of it and it s seems like a well made machine…i will be curious to hear about those that are riding one…
you might be right…i dont know much about all these…it just seems to me that the handelbar and rest pads are so high…it cant be right!!! but maybe be it is…i m not expert…jsut wanted to share pictures…
Not trying to be a jerk, but I hear people comment on how bikes “look like they fit” all the time, and it’s a pet peeve. Unless you see a rider on the bike, there is pretty much no way to judge what the heck the rider position is going to look like when they do get on.
Even then, it’s easy to knock someone’s position based on looks without knowing the whole story.
I did a fit for a very strong rider with a large assortment of serious back and spinal problems a while back. When I rolled the bike into the shop for a quick tune up, one of the mechanics made a snide remark about “The Fred with the expensive bike.”
I almost smacked him.
This customer was riding an expensive custom bike precisely because he had to use a “Fred-like” position - and he couldn’t get a stock performance oriented bike to fit his super high, super relaxed position requirements. This guy’s bike looked an awful lot like the one in your picture.
the most interesting bike is the guru crono (# 41). how in the world can someone put their body in that position for 4 + hours and 112 miles ?? that is truly amazing.
maybe someone can help me wiht this bike…i m not sure what it is but it s nice…conti tubular and the famous 4 spoke german wheel…a nice machine…he is constantly changing bike every signle season!!!

Cucuma & Walser teamed up for a tri specific version of the Walser UCI-legal TT-machine called “Modell 6”. With the new seat post it is up to a seat angle of 76°. Pretty nice ride ridden by Jan Ullrich and a lot of other TT specialists among the road pros. You can buy these machines from www.cucuma.com

the 4spoke Xentis wheel is actually made in Austria.
3rd
except for Hawaii 05 where he was riding an old Softride Lothar has been riding a Walser frame for the last 4 years (back then it had CUBE written on it).
thanx jonathan. Do u know what kind of tool bag is Dave Harju using behind the saddle? It looks like the spare tubie fits nicely in there? The red Trek equinox looks awesome!
#41 is Scotty Curry who had 4th fastest bike split and followed up with 3:12 marathon at IMC (5th overall). May look uncomfortable but seems to work for Scott. Could be the comfy saddle.
Yes, Bontrager makes both tubular and clincher tires. By '07, all of the Aeolus wheels (including disc) will be available in clincher version. The clincher wheels will be based around the XXXLite clincher hoop, and the tubulars around the XXXLite tubular rim; both are OCLV55 rims. A structural skin is then bonded onto the rim (5.0 & 6.5) and between a custom hub and rim (TT disc) by the folks at HED. I didn’t really know what to expect from Bontrager when I first got the wheels this year, but they really are top-of-the-line. I couldn’t be happier.
That Cucuma/Walser is awesome. I especially like how the cassette is INSIDE the stays…
