IronMan Fees and CF Slots

So I just want to be sure I understand the fees and community foundation slots.

1 - Typical Ironman (Long) entry fee $525?
2 - There are slots available through community foundation for many Ironman races.
3 - Slots cost $525 + $375?

Why not just check the site (formerly NAS, now WTC)
.

Yes, the total CF cost includes the $550 for the entry fee. So the “missed-online-registration-but-still-want-to-race” (tax deductable) premium is the difference.

Ironman Community Foundation: $1,300.00
.

A Community Foundation entry is $1,300.00 USD. $525.00 is for the race entry fee and $775.00 is for the charitable donation and is tax deductible.

I think you also get some “perks”, like VIP seating at dinners, and some goodies (one year they did jackets and race gear, not sure if they still do).

I signed up for Placid recently through the community fund. As Record10 just mentioned its $1300. $550 Race Fee + $750 Community Fund donation. 2 Seperate payments for $1300 total.

OK - I understand now. The $375 is if an employer is matching. Otherwise the total fee is $1350 which includes the registration fee.

Thank you.
