Does anyone have any thoughts on IM Cozumel. I was thinking about doing this race in 2010. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Well not much to report on Cozumel as the race hasn’t happened yet and this will be the first year. I think there are 20ish of slowtwitchers doing it and I’m sure you will see some race reports come out soon after the race. From what I read here, the race course is still changing so I guess we all are waiting till the event to give an opinion. Overall though it should be a warm, humid race but will make for a nice vacation.

I think the water will probably be fine (been to Playa many times and no issues) but I would think the heat, humidity and wind would be brutal. I would love to do this race as I love the area but don’t think I could handle the heat.
