I am raising money for a very important cause, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada. This past year I lost my mom to Acute Mylo Leukemia but in the same breath watched my little buddy Graydon survive a similiar blood cancer through the great treatments at Sick Kids hospital here in Toronto.
In May 2007 I plan to race Ironman Lanzarote off the coast of Spain, what is described as the hardest Ironman on the planet with over 2600 metres of elevation during the bike leg in 100 degree heat and humidity. Every mile I log in the cold winter months here in Toronto will be done with the incredible inspiration of my mom, Graydon, and every other person affected by blood cancers.
