Hello All,
Anyone know if Steve King was the MC at the pre race banquet and will he be the announcer at the finish and at the awards banquet? I have a couple friends who are racing and I told them that he is the best. I certainly hope that he and his vast knowledge the event and its history are on center stage.

Steve was the MC last night but he is not calling the race tomorrow because he is competing. Mike Reily is calling the race. Not bad for a stand in.
He did do the banquet, but unfortunately won’t be announcing the race. Though his shoes will be capably filled by Mike Reilly, so that’s good news.

Yes, Steve was the MC last night at the carbo dinner…but alas, he will not be announcing at the finish this year. Mike Reilly (sp?) will be doing it here for the first time, I believe. Steve’s voice and the way he makes each IM finisher feel special…well, it will be missed. Upside is, I believe Steve will be at the start line this year doing the race…the race has truly come full circle for the 25th Anniversary race.
Not sure who is emcee at the awards banquet.
