Has anyone here done Ironman Brazil? I am considering doing it in 2008, and I wanted to get some feedback. Is it a good race, good location? amenities? support? course? etc?

A friend of ours is from Sao Paolo and they have a beach house in Florianopolis, so it would be perfect for us. Plus, I have heard a lot of good things about Brazil.
Also, it looks like it doesn’t sell out insanely quick, like US Ironmans. It appears that registration is still open for 2007?? Wow!

I also am planning a 08 IMBRA, my girlfriend (tourguide) is also from sao paulo. hopefully she will put up with me another year and a half
