Ironman baby strollers?!?

How about Ironman condoms? They’d sell a billion of them.

“Ironman condoms, because you can go the distance.”

(I think this thread just jumped the shark, or has at least begun the downward spiral.)

I think that to a certain point it’s the “peloton” mentality. That you shouldn’t wear the kit unless you’re on the team. That you shouldn’t wear the M-Dot unless you’ve gone the distance. I’m not making a value judgment, but whenever this subject comes up, it becomes clear that cycling and triathlon enthusiasts are much more protective of their symbols than the average American sports fan, who has embraced the marketing blitz that has us but buying the Championship hat and shirt the day after our team wins.

Perhaps when/if the sport becomes huge, then people won’t think twice about it.
