Ironman 70.3 Kraichgau, where to stay?

so, as of 2020 I am starting a new career, 70.3 distance exclusively :slight_smile:
If it’s good for Crowie, it will be even better for me. No more full distance.
My first race will be 70.3 Kraichgau. Any recommendations for hotels, airbnb… where to stay location wise?

You will not find a lot of fancy hotel but a good number of bed&breakfast and simple hotel. Book early and take care of the logistics. T1 and T2 are about 10km apart. I believe they have bus shuttles. However, I always took my own car on Saturday and got a lift to the start by friends/family on race day. It is well organized, but just needs a bit of extra time for logistics and driving.

Since you do some driving anyway, I typically stayed somewhere between swim start and finish. Whatever was available, reasonably priced and looked ok.
