A cold morning is what you can experience in Norway in September… But air temp at the freezing point at race start was never in my thoughts. It also brought with it a foggy mist over the watersurface giving a “troll”- feeling for the start of the event. Navigating was not made easy by this either. Ever tried surching for white bouys in the mist?? I missed one on the first lap, but the organizers where nice and gave me a swimming “stop and go”:). First time experience!!
