I’m in for the Oly, with a buddy from the area.
I’m hoping its not going to be as brutally hot this year as it was last year.
If it is, ice water is all I will be looking for after the race. Hopefully enough to submerge myself in!

the local utility checks it regularly. since I work for them I can get the info pretty quickly. the E coli ranges from 0 to 3 in the swim area. 235 is the level the beach gets closed and the tri gets cancelled. we are NO where near that. I watch these numbers pretty closely.
it does make me wonder if other tris get their water tested???
Well i know the one in Delevan Lake a couple weeks ago didn’t! I got to spend a couple of hours hearing about “algae blooms” from my wife after the race.
