A city of 10 million people is about to run out of water. That’s a pretty big deal. This has received coverage from different news sources for a long time now, it’s not exactly a biased hit piece.

There are several countries facing similar issues. Could be all their fault, climate change, poverty, or a combination.
I don’t see how there is a quick fix to this. They could be in a lot of trouble.
You would think it would be a bit easier to truck water in rather than truck people out. I mean look at Dubai.

Yeah it would have helped to be a tad more prepared for this, there is no way you cannot at least partially blame this on incompetence.
It really is a shame. Iran has so much potential. Highly educated populace, incredible culture, etc.
