Where does everyone get their (downloads) music.
Ipod store is $0.99 a song.
Yahoo music looks like $6.99 a month - that seems like a deal.
Any other suggestions?

Limeware, BearShare, KazaaLite…rips from friends CDs. Until they put higher quality stuff online, its not worth paying for in my mind. I don’t download a ton from them, but when I think of something I normally turn here first.
Yahoo sounds like a much better deal. When I had an Ipod I used I-Tunes store. I had major problems when I was syncing between two different computers…it always though I was trying to copy the songs or something. All the digital rights stuff pissed me off, so I went back to pirating!
DEATH TO THE RIAA!!!

Bittorrent is the most reliable source I’ve found… You usually get full albums, but will only find popular stuff. www.torrentspy.com or www.thepiratebay.org are the ones I like best. (Also where I was able to download the tour).
If I can’t find it there, and have to buy it I go to http://www.allofmp3.com When it first started it was $0.01/meg, so a full album would usually cost less than a dollar. I believe the price has gone up (last I saw it was $0.02/meg). Its a russian site, so the logic is that you’re paying broadcast fee or something like that. I’ve used it a bit, and thought it was great… I think you can even pay with paypal, but I used my credit card directly, and didn’t have any problems.
never tried bittorrent but heard lots about it…I think I will be installing it tonight.
this allofmp3 site looks SWEET! You are the man! Thanks for the link.
