I got an ipod 20gb for Christmas, whoopeeee.

Does anybody have an armband they would recommend to wear the ipod when running ?

I got a Marware case that came with a clip and a band and it’s been working well. Make sure to get the right one as the mini case and regular look almost identical.

I use the belt clip that comes with it (I have the mini). Works great.

I second the Marsware. I sweat alot and wanted something that that would protect my mini from sweat too. The marsware case does it quite well

Marware. I’ve got one for my 20g; got my wife one for Xmas for her mini. It comes with neoprene case in which I leave the iPod 24/7 since it protects it from drops and bumps.

I actually run most of the time just holding the iPod in the neoprene case in my hand. I only get out the armband for long runs.

Nathan makes an ipod arm holster. That being said avoid it like the plague as it often opens up by itself leaving your ipod a long way to fall… but if you are still interested I know where you can get them!

I’ve got this one and have no complaints. Keeps the Ipod dry and haven’t had a problem even on my longest runs…

i don’t want to rain on your parade but my ipod did not like running. on long runs it would freeze from all of the bouncing. i know a lot of others haven’t had the same problem but i would suggest trading in your new ipod for a mini ipod. it’s got a flash drive which won’t skip, unlike the hard drive in your ipod. just a suggestion.

Actually, that’s not right. The Mini uses a hard drive, too. The new “shuffle” uses flash, but it lacks a lot of features of the Mini and regular iPods. My iPod skips and freezes if I try to put it in my fuel belt, but does fine if I hold it. I haven’t gotten an armband for it yet. My wife’s Mini has an arm band, so I usually just take hers to go running – it hasn’t skipped or frozen yet.
