Coming up on two years with my iPhone 5, and I’m wondering…what are the main benefits to upgrading to the iPhone 6? I’ve been pretty happy with my 5, so I’m not sure the $200 (at a minimum) cost to upgrade is worth it.

It is worth it. You will get a lighter thinner faster phone.
Plus if you are a Verizon customer they will give you 1gb free for 2 years when you upgrade so you can drop your plan and save some money there. I sold my 5 for 220 so you will actually come out ahead by upgrading.
I just went from 4s to 6 (yesterday). Totally worth it.
Don’t know about 5.
The phone (6) is pretty badass.
Look at post 77. I compare the 4, 5, 5s, 5c, and 6.

if you use comcast and verizon wireless - you could net out zero for 64gb. Comcast is offering 100.00 back (or 10 mth for 12 mth’s off your monthly bill) then verizon trade in program gives another 200 gift card.
My girlfriend loves the iPhone 6 and she upgraded from a 5s. I’m still running a 4s with iOS7 and love mine too…at some point it will die, but til then it rips all I need it to do.
I went from a 4s to a 6. To be honest I’d have prefered going to a 5. 6 is too big for my liking. Its been 10 days though so we’ll see if I can get used to it.
I went from a 5 to a 6. I love this new phone although it’s a touch too big for my small girly hands.
I would suggest that you put a screen protector on it; mine has several scratches already. I have never scratched an iPhone screen before this one. I have read of many people having the same issue.
I went 4S → 6, and yikes, that was a big jump…
I’m torn on the screen size - the larger screen is fantastic compared to the 4, but I’m primarily a one-handed phone user, so the 6 drives me crazy being just a tad too big (I guess I have small hands). I’m still working on getting used to it.
And it may be my imagination, but the 6 feels wayyyy more “slippery” than the 4 too (it is surprisingly thinner & lighter than the 4/5) - to help with that, I bought a some of these (link) and put a few on the back - they defnitely help provide a security warm-fuzzy when using with one hand.
I haven’t had any issues with the screen getting scratched; whenever it’s in my pocket, it’s in a Sena case like this (link).
Apple Pay rocks - it’s ridiculously easy to set up and use, and you can use it at any NFC-capable merchant (it doesn’t have to be a specially identified Apple Pay partner).
Cheers, Chris
