I remember Slingshot BMX bikes from 20+ years ago. Cooler than a SE Quad Angle.

heh…

does that…work?

Sure, I just can’t imagine it’s very stiff.
The wire rope replaces the tubes that are in tension.

They work well, at one time they were reasonable popular, at least in MI. They had one decent pro MTB.

Styrrell

Chuckie V rode one as well if I’m not mistaken.

Slingshot? Unless that’s really tight bee-line cable routing…

I still own a Slingshot jersey!

Are those Roval wheels?

Nothing new about that: www.pedersenbicycles.com/index.html

And very comfortable to ride.

Oddly enough the design does work-at least on their mountain bikes. They ride a bit differently than your std full suspension rigs. I’m waiting for their new road bike design to come out (no sling technology on it I’m told). They’ve got a nice little cult following here in west MI.

Or (thanks to carbon fiber) skip the cables.
