Hi, I would like to do an international IM next year, but not sure which one. Does anyone have a suggestion on what the best one is as far as scenery and things to do there. i was thinking maybe australia, new zealand, or france…??
I highly recommend NZ or Brasil. I’ve done both multiple times and both places are great to visit and both organizations put on great races.

For destination stuff, outside the IM course profile, I would say that South Africa has a lot to offer.

I’ve done 4 IM’s, two in NA and two in Europe. The feelings are totally different across the pond. You are a rock star in Europe. The crowds are unreal and no matter where you are in the race they make you feel like you’re leading it. Go to Austria and see the best water, mountains, and fans you will never see in the States.
