International Distance - Midwest in June

I’m doing IMKY at the end of August. Planning on doing the Racine 1/2 in July. I’m looking for a good Int. distance race in June. I live in Chicago, so would prefer somewhere driveable. Just wondering if anyone has done any in the area that they would recommend.

Thanks in advance.

HY-VEE TRI in Des Moines, IA - June 12 & 13…

the entry fee is a bit steep, but its a first class event and well supported. the top ITU guys and gals all show up for the big prize money, so that adds to the weekend.

Pleasant Prairie is now the last weekend in June. Great Race… Pleasant Prairie is in Kenosha, WI

Nice. Thanks.

Anyone ever hear of/do Big Foot Tri in Lake Geneva? It’s at the end of June as well.

x3 on Hyvee - awesome event, worth the steep entry fee.

I also saw this one and was thinking about it myself:
Tri Greenville Oly - Greenville, IL on 6/27/10

Check out Elkhart Lake Olympic in Wisconsin. Slightly longer ride but overall an awesome event. The bike and run course are both challenging
