I’m stripping my Dual down to the frame for refinishing & using a commercial paint stripper to remove the paint/clearcoat. All has been removed from the frame except the internal headset. How do you remove these rings? And once removed, is there a specific top and bottom element, or can they be reinstalled in either position? Just wondering if I need to get out the label maker…
Get out the label maker, your have a bearing cap on top and a base plate on the bottom, you dont want to flip them. If you have any problems shoot me an email at greg@bike-maintenance-101.com
