I’m planning on changing out my bars on my 07 QR Seduza in the near future. Of course, this means taking out and redoing the cabling, and I’ve never done this before with internally routed cables. I know I could just take it in to the shop, but this is something I would like to learn to do on my own, and I have the time and patience.
So I’m just wondering, is there anything special that I need to know when dealing with internal cable routing? Is it pretty straightforward, or is it likely to stretch my patience?
Thanks.
I am not a wrench, but heard my LBS say that you tape the new ones to the olds ones. You pull the new one into place as you pull out the old one. I assume you have to attach one end to the other so they do not overlap and will fit through the routing.
