Really good article on Floyd Landis in the NYT. It doesn’t sway either way (doping or no doping), making sure to say that the author of the article couldn’t tell (or didn’t make assumptions either way). It told Floyd’s version… but what I found MOST fascinating is that it shows that being in the public eye (especially in sports) AND having any difficulty can certain f_ck up your life.
The article talked about how depressed Floyd and family are and how all of this media attention has affected his family. So whether anyone thinks Floyd doped, or didn’t dope, or that this life for him (and/or other ‘stars’) is easy, it’s a very interesting article.
