Integrated headset with non integrated fork?

Hello,

can someone confirm that it’s possible to use a non integrated fork with an integrated headset, and vice versa without mechanical problems ?

Sounds logical to me but as I don’t have any integrated headset on my bikes, I can’t check !

Thanks for your input.

It’s fine. I have an Easton EC90 SL (integrated) fork on my OCLV. Looks pretty good, if I say so myself, but it may not look right on a frame with a thinner walled head tube. The carbon is quite thick, and matches the width of the headset and fork crown quite closely.

My Klein (integrated) came with a non-integrated OCLV fork. It also looks pretty good.

Thanks, exactly what I wanted to know for sure !

Bye

Yes, it will look like this:

.

Gary,

Is that the infamous delta brake? Did Bunnyman make the cover for you?

I believe it’s a Zipp brake. Gary posted a picture before in the “let’s see your bikes” thread.
