It looks like I will be a co race director for a kids traithlon; so I would like some input from those race director or parents with their input: What makes a successfull kids tri.
I am looking for input in all areas; prizes, goodies in the packet, post race celebrations, you name it.

I would try to put an emphasis on kids having fun and enjoying the day… I would give out prizes for things other than best times… how about best outfit or nicest smile or something silly. Better to have lots of kids go home with prizes than 5 or six really happy kids and a bunch that go home crying because they didn’t win…
