It’s been a minute since Ashley Horner or other influencers being discussed.
I’m always reminded “this is why we can’t have nice things!”
I love the phrase: “people were impressed that he took ownership of it,” when he gets caught.
How is that impressive? He’s an adult who keeps on messing up and not caring anything about those around him. There is nothing impressive about this at all.
For a flat ass course like that, then be caught drafting, nah… probably tried to draft to have a shot at sub-5.
would may sound convincing on an honest, technical course, and maybe still be caught drafting, serve the penalty, & go under 5.
What’s he gonna say?
It’s not taking ownership if he apologizes, but doesn’t change his behavior.
Lol, I see what you did there.
Every time one of these influences does something like this (or in his case a sequence of things like this), I ask myself who are the people who are being influenced, and how do these influences retain their following.
I’m each case, I have no choice but to come to the conclusion that the community groups enabling this sort of thing are but cesspools of toxic positivity.
Young men. Not the most intelligent cohort if we’re being honest.
Reminds me of this scene from the film: The Jerk.
I just spent 10 minutes of my life I will never get back looking at his IG. I don’t really get what is so interesting about this guy. He’s not particularly fast and nothing about his videos are inspiring or even interesting. I guess I’m just a “hater”
I’m surprised you spent that long?
As I said above, he’s one of those people who, if I see their name, I just say “them again?” and don’t take the clickbait
Act like a clueless putz then offer up a teary apology. Freaking genius. I can’t believe we’re posting on a thread about this guy but clearly it works as intended.
these people need to be exposed as they are misleading a lot of people. He has many groupies defending him. These numbers can start affecting races when everyone says f-it, im not a pro lets draft even if I get a penalty
I do not see his name on the Ironman Texas start list.
