Just read your blog. Congrats on the weight loss. Fantastic job. I’ve never been really heavy, but I have gone from 164 to about 145 now and it feels great. Lightest I’ve been since my 20s. Try to keep your attitude positive about the race. You WILL do fine. When I did IMFL in 03 I went in so excited and had such a great attitude about it that I ended up getting my best IM time of 13:10, despite some cramping on the run. Don’t look at it as a long day of suffering but rather be thankful you have the health and ability to participate in the sport in the first place. Enjoy the journey and I can’t wait to read your race report.
