In about 11 days I'll have 5000 posts on slowtwitch

I looked at my profile and it says I have 4880 posts. At my current average rate of usage (9.4 posts per day) I’ll have 5000 in about 11 days. I would guess most of my posts run around an average of 20 words… just a guess. That’s 100,000 words.

Damn, sorry to be so long winded. I had no idea this thing Dan created would be such a useful tool, valuable asset and effective and interesting method of communication.

Thanks Dan, and every slowtwitcher. I wrote an editorial on our own site about this forum but it isn;t up yet. We are super backed-up with updates on our site right now.

I dont know how fast you type but assume 2 seconds per word. That’s 55 hours or

I type super fast and have one computer with the forum up at all times. Half the time when I am posting I am just going through the office to and from waiting on customers (like now) or on the way to the bathroom.

You can tell how fast I type becasue of all the the typos.

Wow! That’s pretty impressive. I’ll be up to 1,000 soon myself, but in all fairness, I contribute absolutely nothing to the forum. ;p

Just as impressive, you have instigated 3 of the top 25 threads on the “new” forum in terms of posts. I’m sure you had several on the “old” forum as well. Not even Tibbs can equal that. Truly a man of many words. . .
