In a Non-Draft Pro Race: 12, 16, or 20 Meters? Or Should We Care?

Exactly!! The racing has been so exciting, so many edge of your seat races… So yeah let’s fix that and do everything we can to make the race as boring as possible.. It’s a joke.

It’s on his IG. And that’s probably the truth. Nothing’s gonna change. The 3 Norwegians, 2 Belgians, Laidlow, Ditlev, Schomberg will continue to dominate middle and long-distance racing.

Dominate? That’s a pretty powerful word.. I’m not sure I agree with that one. Will they still be at the front? Yes but dominate? I don’t think so..

Anyway,.. you guys at ProTriNews can certainly tap yourselves on the back. Well done @Kyleglass91 @talbotcox @Tritalkingfacts.

You got what you wanted, and at the very least there’s going to be a mouthful of talking points to make the upcoming season more interesting and a major excuse for some athletes’ underperformance has been killed.

At the most, the sport has been improved. Which would be a huge deal.

And at worst it will be made into a snooze fest…

@slowtwitch (on insta) have suggested:
“Shot (sic) out to the boys @protrinews. The long tough road has ended in victory today :clap:t2::clap:t2::flexed_biceps:t2:. Next up.. Disc wheels at @ironmantri Kona? LFG!!”
McCaulay, Berry and Lee rolled 180s last October.

Iden just posted this on strava. Now gets me thinking, why arent the norwegians in T100?

You really want to know why?

yes…

Keep in mind this my opinion and opinion only.. I would imagine that they simply didnt want to be told what to do for 3-5 days before each week. And those contracts sort of required that.. Also Those guys care about one thing and one thing only… GOLD MEDALS and WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS.

So that is probably some of the reasons.

I agree, but for last season. I’ll bet that they do some of those T100 races this season now that you can just drop in and race. I think they care a little bit about money too..

Because T100 don’t pay enough

2025 earnings:

Hayden Wilde: $379,600

Kristian Blummenfelt: $353,500

T100 has a world championship. I do understand the control aspect

It’s mostly sponsorship Bonuses.. Lets also keep in mind that Hayden WON EVERYTHING to earn that much.. Kristian sort of got his butt kicked last year. He was not happy with his season. The dude WINS of he “Loses” in his mind.

Not a single sponsor see’s the T100 as a world championship at this point. Hopefully that will change though.

If you think Hayden Wilde made more money than Blummenfelt, you already bought the Brooklyn bridge. Those are prize earnings, not gross earnings. But you know, Blummenfelt ends up earning 26k less in prize earnings and did so with significantly more freedom than Wilde.
