I’ve been toying with the idea of doing an IM stateside in 2005 as it’ll be my 40th birthday 19th June 05.
Can anyone suggest what they feel is the best one and why.

Ive only done one, Ironman Wisconsin. I really liked it, great bike course> scenic and challenging; volunteers and spectators where fabulous on some climbs you felt like you where in Tour De France. The run is through Madison which is a really nice University Town. Ive also heard alot of good things about Ironman Canada, ive tried to get in IMC the last two years via lottery but its impossible unless you go there the day of the race.
