Improved running after biking with longer cranks?

Hi,

I don’t know what you guys think of this but after I changed the cranklength off my bike from 172.5 to 175 my running seems to be improved is that possible ? If yes could it be because I practice more or less a higher knee on biking now due to the longer cranks ? I’m big guy (1m97) so going to 175 was a normal choice which I should have been don more sooner. Your feedback please.

Yes, your hamstrings and hip flexors do more work to turn a bigger circle, so it should positively impact your run. Same theory (to some extent…less the clutch) as using powercranks.
