IMOO Run Course - Downtown Mod

Looks like we are running the opposite way around the capital this year. Presumably due to the road construction on Main St.

Oh my god! I have done all my training fully expecting to run clockwise around the capital not counterclockwise; is it to late to change orbit? is Tom Demerly aware of this???
Oh the horror!

Not a big deal - but where will the run special needs be located now?

is Tom Demerly aware of this???

That’s HUGE!

Tom’s cracking me up. I thought I was nervous about Moo.

Don’t be fooled by my bravado …I’m getting psyched as well, sure sign that the taper is on.

Crap. I need a refund

Wait. Huh? Special Needs what?

Hold on! THERE’S A RUN!?!

We have to run in this thing? That is CRAZY!

are you sure? I have to take a look at the athlete guide again.

According to the Athlete Guide, you can crawl instead, if you prefer.

“According to the Athlete Guide, you can crawl instead, if you prefer.”

oh… phew.

I’ve been doing all this crawl training for the last 9 months. I was thrown for a loop when everyone was talking about “running”

You have been practicing your bilateral breathing on the run, haven’t you? If so, it shouldn’t be an issue.

I tried but I kept crossing over into the other lane and ending up bouncing off lamp posts , curbs, Starbucks (they seem to come up out of nowhere), bus stops etc…

It is due to political pressure from the rightwingers. They feel that it has been unfair that the leftwingers have had the run on their side of the Capitol for all of the previous races. Now it is their turn to have us on their side. Bigger hill to climb now, at least +30’ elevation.

yeah they changed the direction of the run because the recent hurricanes messed up the Coriolis Effect in Wisconsin. Careful when you flush your toilets while there too.

I had running shoes specifically calibrated for running the opposite way…

but, I always have a plan “B”.

So I also have a pair specifically designed to run the other direction.

By the way, what do you think the weather will be like?

They’re Newton’s, so you just need to put them on the opposite feet then, right?
