Did they post anything about the snake problem in the lake?
I had a meeting today with some potential business partners from Guatemala. They drove up from Madison yesterday, after spending two days there. They tried swimming in Lake Monona, but they said the snake problem is fucked up. They’ve done projects in the jungles of South and Central America and have never seen anything as fucked up as Lake Monona. I kind of laughed, but they didn’t think it was too funny.

Quit freaking people out about the snakes…
I say the only way to take care of the problem is to burn the lake- i.e. dump a load of gas, and let em burn. Only takes about 15 minutes- with the only downside being the smell of burned snake and the scream of a burning snake. That will keep you up at night. Regardless, they have got to do something about this or I see a lot of people bailing on this one.
Ok, do tell. Are they worried about trouser snakes? Inquiring minds want to know.

There’s a snake problem? I’ve been swimming in Lake Monona and haven’t seen any snakes. I thought the only problem was the dead body.

The snakes aren’t nearly as big a problem as the chip-seal they laid down last night… right on the exit ramp of the convention center. Watch yourselves on the way down from T1.
