Everyone here got me so excited about Ironman MOO and now I am planning to sign up for next year.

Good luck to everybody for this year though.

I’m bouncing around like John Doe in Se7en.

“it’s not too far now…”

I have some questions that were not convered in those 16 pages.

I think the information for the transitions was lacking.

How does wetsuit stripping work? what is the procedure? what should we suspect?

In the transition rooms, can you get nekkid? so could someone, hypothetically, have a swimsuit on under my wetsuit and then change completely into cycling shorts? some nekkidness would be necessary for that.

and then after the bike can one, again hypothetically, strip down again to put on running specific clothing?

I am um… not asking for myself… this is er… ahh for a “friend”… yup, that’s it, for a Friend.

wetsuit strippers: before you get to them havwe the top of your suit undone and pulled down - then lay down and they will strip it off you slicer than snot.

In the trans rooms - you can get as nekkid as a jay bird if you want to. Seperate rooms for male/females. You’ll stop and get a bag with all of your “stuff” before you get into the room. There are volunteers in the rooms to help get stuff out of bags and put stuff back in. But be ready to not get any help in there if you are in there during a busy time - like the 1:05-1:15 swim crowd.

AF - no worries - once you get there and see the layout, all will be made clear. Don’t miss the race video done by Huddle/Frey - not only is it entertaining, but it’s a high-speed run through of the whole process. Should answer most of your questions.

Is there any sort of spectator guide made available?
