I received my assignment for canoe/kayak for IMLP today with the following request from the organizers:

“We are constantly looking for more volunteers so tell your friends, family, colleagues and neighbors to participate in this great opportunity. Volunteer applications are available on-line at www.ironmanusa.com or by calling me at (518) 523-2445, Ext. 110.”

I remember a thread not so long ago about info on volunteering so hopefully this helps those interested. The tel. number is for Sofie Van Olman, the volunteer director.
I’ll be keeping a look out for Bishop emblazened race gear everywhere!

I was talking recently about IMLP----I will be doing Saturday bike check-in, and riding the course in my spare time. It took awhile, but I found lodging in Saranac Lake fom Friday through Sunday night, so I’m all set and looking forward to it.
