I looked at current water temps and they are currently 78-80 degrees and its only July 1st. Any chance this thing is going to be wetsuit legal? I’m training on the assumption its not going to be wetsuit legal.
First time event, swim in a river, lots of newbies, I dunno, but, I think they are going to do everything humanly possible to find a cold spot in that river to get a temp reading making it wetsuit legal.
I would suggest that your assumptions would be correct…DARN IT!
