Slowman I found your article ie IMH bike splits interesting but one factor not mentioned was the fact that Nina was caught for drafting and the unknown of how much time she would have gained for that and another fact is that she should’ve been DQ’d because she cussed the official out that stopped her. Just a thought.
Fortunately for her, she probably cussed him out in German, so he had no idea. 
I think it’s a shame that there was confusion regarding what she was being penalized for, and what she was required to do before she could continue on her ride…
