IMH 2007: With all the talk about Macca winning this year, could Lessing steal the crown from Faris, Macca, Stadler etc?

I still think he has it in him to pull off the big win in October. I would love to see him win it!

Unless I missed something… Simon Lessing hasn’t qualified for IMH this year.

Has he even raced an IM in 2007?

He qualified in Clearwater last November.

I find it interesting that few have mentioned that he is racing and even fewer consider him a contender. A dark horse in waiting IMO.

Simon was almost expected to win IMH a few years ago after his dominating performance at IMLP. Unfortunately it never happened and he’s always been regarded as a long shot ever since.
