Does anyone know how long it usually takes for the watch me finish videos to appear on the Ironman website?
Still waiting for IMC watch me finish…Some races seem to have it and some do not.
According to the Ironman Website:
Team Ironmanlive wants you to relive your Ironman Finish, again and again.
When you get home, navigate to your athlete split page within your race coverage on Ironman.com. Look for the yellow ‘Watch Me Finish’ button.
Within seconds, you will be taken back to that magical moment when you heard Mike Reilly say, “You Are an Ironman!!”
If are are feeling blue this is a proven method for inspiration and encouragement.

it’s advertised on the ironmanlive.com site that IMFL was supposed to have a ‘watch me finish’ feature. i got an email already telling me that i could buy my finish… but i can’t JUST watch it.
Last year for all the finishers under 14 hours they had a yellow watch me finish button on the athletes split page where you could watch the finish( technical problem prevented most people above 14 hours from being able to watch their finish). I just got an e-mail that informed me for $19.95 i can buy two views of me finishing. Not sure if the watch me finish feature is going to be available for free.
It was available for Kona for free a few days after the race, so my guess is it’ll be similarly available for FL.
It’s still available for Kona as we “speak”. I’m presuming that when they get it going, it will be available for a while.

Does anyone know how to copy the finish video to hard disk, or my computer Hard drive? All I get when I try is the Charles Schwab commercial.

Go to download.com and do a search. I’ve seen some freeware available for download there that will let you capture streaming video.
Never mind - it’s not really “free” - you have to endure the “talk to Chuck” commercial. Any way to bypass that thing?
Email ironman.com and ask them.
After IMWI - I emailed them and they gave me some lame excuse that due to “technical difficulties” they wouldn’t be able to offer the free version…but I could buy it for $19.95! Hmmmmm. I actually bought it (being my first IM distance) but would not buy it the next time. The $19.95 video looks just like the “promo” video except for your finish line video inserted.

Where is it…I can’t find it…I’m sure it’s very obvious but I’ve found my brain has not been working since about mile 5 of the run in FL.
Pull up your splits under “athlete split page” – it’s right there, click on the yellow bar.
