Man. I’ve gotten crazy nervous just carrying rings from one room to the next as a best man before. Don’t want to lose them. Can’t imagine carrying one for 12 miles on a run.

I was in pain for the last 12 miles. I had a pinched nerve in my lower back from an injury a few weeks ago and was feeling the pain by that point. The proposal was definitely what was getting me through to the end.
In regards to the guy in the arm sling, I heard that someone had gotten hit by a car on the bike course and continued. I’m guessing that was him.
