I just saw this on the ironmanlive website:

It lists the qualifying races for 2006, for both Kona and the “70.3” championship.
It looks like there will still be several halfs (I mean 70.3’s) that will have qualifying slots for Kona next year.
If you scroll down to the very bottom, the list includes Florida, on November 4, 2006 as a qualifier for 2007.
Not that I’m in danger of qualifying, but I’m in for Florida this year thinking it was going to be the last time there.
Oh well.
