I think I see me in the top left!

Nice pic, great day, especially compared to the previous 3, when it looked like the perfect storm out there.

That’s an awesome shot. Thanks for sharing.

It was an impressive site from the beach. This high angle shot is even better.

That’s me and IMNA VP of Marketing Ted Kennedy in the red and blue jackets, standing in the start corral on the beach about 2/3 of the way along the line. Ted and I were saying the same thing - what an awesome picture this would be. Niether of us had a camera. I would suggest that you send this along to IMNA. They might want to have a copy of it.

Good thing Beavis and Butthead weren’t driving that boat. You bet they’d be throwing chum in the water like crazy…

Great picture! Esp. for a registered '05 new competitor.

Great Shot!
Thanks 4 sharing.
Did you use a Widelux?

Hey swordfish-its actually 3 photos stiched together. I took it on the top balcony of the Ho-Jo hotel.

I did the same thing for the transition area, not nearly as neat a pic but I’ll share anyway…

Nice stitching job. Nice pics. That’s me in the middle blocking a left hook and countering with an elbow to the chin.

Yes. Send it on to IMNA. Then tell them it is subject to copyright, and that they can secure permission to use or publish it for an exhorbitant fee. Don’t forget to add some marking to the middle of the photo that would make it impossible to reproduce without said payment.

Sorry, that was an unnecessary jab.

Awesome pics, but you gave this '05 IMF virgin IM competitor butterflies:)How the hell am I going to do that swim?

Its amazing what you can do w/ Photoshop these days.

I still use my Widelux F7 though, can’t seem to give up on film.

Monk-

Good job at at IMAZ!
Saw the foot shot…I think thats the worst I’ve seen ever.
Way to hang in and set the example to the kids…that was HUGE.

That water was so much calmer than the day before.

Don’t worry Sheik–its TWO laps of that. But the salty Gulf waters will give you extra buoyancy–really. Be sure to try and start out front so you get the full effect of a mass swim start–as a first timer, you don’t want to miss any of the IM experience.
