There will be a huge celebration this year.All the past winners have been invited back.Some are racing, most are just here for the party.Lot's of old legends will be spotted.There will be all kinds of different festivities including an special All Star hockey game at the arena on carbo night.Can't confirm all of the legends coming back as they have not all been found.Fireworks,laser-shows and all that jazz.Oh and there is that little race on the Sunday.

Confirmations of who will be racing will come out pretty soon.Usually the cut-off for elite entries is about six weeks out from race day so all the numbers,brochures,press releases and all that crap can get done.I'm sure though if Lori or Peter turned up race morning and wanted to sign up they wouldn't be stopped.The word from Roch is that Heather is racing.Ray Browning is coming.As of a couple of weeks ago Tinley was up for it but un-confirmed.They were still trying to find Chucky V,Hellriegal and Teemu.All of the '80s male winners will be here but I can't tell you about the girls yet.
6 week deadline!!! I would more say 2 weeks! Ironman as been very generous at letting pro enter in the last 2 weeks of the race, and canada is always a race that fill up in the last 4 weeks for the pro field.
as for Hellerigel, i talk to him this morning and he said to not call him, he is busy and so it is for all the other past winners that are in any kind of shape to do well…THE ARENT WELCOME!!! dont try to track them down… leave them alone!!!
Heather is in, from what she told me! should be great to watch!

I am in for IMC '07, See if I can beat my '87 time…I beat '85 last year despite being double the age…I was 15 minutes faster at Osoyoos than last year, so we will see!
