Caron is in the race!

Canadian pro Jonathan Caron lost his chip during the swim, so we don’t have a swim split for him.

We’re pretty sure he came out of the water in the group led by Kyle Guembel.

Julian is now out on the run, after averaging nearly 18mph for a 6:13:29 bike split. Looks like his back is holding up just fine. :slight_smile:

Jonnyo appears to have close a place, and is now running in 11th. With his closing speed over the back half of the run, it looks like a solid top 10 for that boy…

Damn… looks like jonnyo ran into some problems over the 2nd half… 3:32:15 for 16th place.

Kagemusha and a large group from Oahu/Hawaii is there. Kagemusha was 52nd out of the water in 55:59.

Julian soldiered on to net a 14:07 - not bad for a dude whose back was so bad a few days before the race he wasn’t sure he’d even be able to start.

I had some problems but finally I am happy with the results. Today I got the last Kona slot in the M30-34.
