Anyone else here trying to get into Ironman Canada via lottery? If so, I thought we were suppose to find out who made it today? I’ve checked the wedsite and my email countless times today and still nothing. If anybody knows something different regarding acceptance, please advise.
I held out registering for IMW because of this and lost out on Wisconsin. I truely had no idea that Wisconsin would sell out as fast as it did. My bad, I know… I still have IMCDA if I did not make Canada.
BTW, could anyone recommend a non-Ironman sactioned event that would be really worth considering? I get excited on the amount of people that participate and well as spectate - to me the more the merrier…

Non-ironman race worth considering … Quelle Challenge Roth is awesome (it was an official IM race when I did it in 2001 but I would definitely go back and do it again) The crowds are awesome, the venue is awesome and it makes a great vacation destination.
