For anyone who is interested, I am giving a free talk on race day nutrition & hydration at the Whole Foods Market on Main St. in Penticton (in the shopping center with Blockbuster, left side of the road as you head towards OK Falls). The talk starts at 5pm and will go to about 6-6:30pm with Q&A. No need to RSVP. Just show up and bring your questions.

Whole Foods supported me this summer. This is part of the ROI (I hope) I am giving them. It’s free to people, because Whole Foods perceives a value in hosting these things. I suspect you already knew that though. Do you think I need to put a disclaimer?
Would be able to schedule a second session for us late arrivals? Maybe on the 27th? Would love to hear what you have to say and I do have some questions.
LOL!
I do buy my bacon at the market where I’m giving the talk - Hertels is my brand of choice. It’s the only one this market sells (and also the only place in town to get it). My all time favorite is still Trader Joe’s Applewood Smoked Bacon, but that is sadly unavailable in Canada. The Whole Foods (as in the chain) is also very good, and I get that when I am in Vancouver.
Will you be providing an outline of bacon based nutrition for race day? Think about it, a bento box stuffed full of bacon! That would surely give you the juice to get up to Yellow Lake with some power!
So who was there, besides me? A very thought provoking presentation by Jordan (I am still eating a bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios with milk as part of my pre-race meal though). Plus a very fine restaurant recommendation following (Earl’s - the salmon was quite good). Thanks for taking the time out of your busy week Jordan, and it was nice to say “hello” after the discussion.
