A free program (VLC Media Player) has the capability to record streaming video. You can download it here: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
Let me know and I can walk you through setting it up. Pretty easy.
The recordings are small. I recorded 4 hours of IMC video, and it was ~200 mb.
The quality is not the best. Whatever is streamed is what is captured.

i am not sure what your original post said, but recording video off the net for personal use is no more illegal than recording a tv show off the airwaves or cable on your personal vcr, dvr, or tivo (as is done by millons of people every day of the year …)
Original post was I was watching IMC for my friends, and I recorded starting at 13:00:00 - 17:05:00.
I was offering to post the finisher video for anyone here who finished in that timeframe.
But I don’t want to break any copyright laws.
