Actually…it’s 82 
Supposed to be 92 on Thursday, down to 78 and “breezy” on Friday…
hopefully it won’t be breezy like today. gusts above 30 and sustained above 25. could be funny.
To add to the confusion, here are the three sites I use:

They all agree on wind.
We can sit around some day and say, “remember that freakin’ three loop bike course the first year of IMAZ”, and then someone else can say “Yeah, and the GD wind!” and then we will laugh our asses off.
I’ll agree that the winds today were nuts down here.
I went on a massive walkabout across the river out towards Scottsdale and the wind was blowing away from the river with a vengeance. Then I went swimming at the ASU student center and was being blown back and forth across the lane during my backstroke repeats.
It’ll make for an interesting race if the wind keeps up on Saturday.
pfft… 10-15 mph winds projected for race day… ALL of my long outdoor training rides (5-6 hrs) have been in 10-15 steady winds with consistent gusts of 20+ mph (and, that’s a good day)…
