Hey all IMAZers. Just went up and down the beeline (err can we call that the ‘queen bee’) and went past a great sight. They had a road sweeper cart out there clearing all the debris off the shoulder. So look forward to some ‘flat tire free’ rides over the next few days.

Ah, that sweep should last a few hours- hope they’re out one last time Sunday morning!
I’m always been appreciative of some bike route sweeping … but unfortunately my experience here on the desert is flats are almost always from thorns … rarely metal or glass. Thorns get pushed out of their evil resting places by rain or sweeping … and then start searching for their “prey”.
Hopefully the wind will blow them back to their crevices before race day!
