Thanks for these. Great shots.

To bad about Dave Z. It could not have been a more dramatic ending.

Of course, it’s hard to tell from the photos, but he appears to be banged up a bit - shredded shorts, bloody knee and hip etc . . I hope that he’s OK and can continue.

Great pics… too bad for DZ, I want Lance to wear yellow, but not because of something like that happening. Either way, Lances calfs are stupid big. Anyone else find it odd that Boonen didn’t have show covers?

Definitely a shame about DZ…but it’s funny what will get people who don’t normally follow a sport that doesn’t involve shooting/passing/throwing/hitting some sort of orb talking about it. Our local sports radio station (KNBR for those of you here in the Bay Area) were actually talking about the TDF this morning (guess they had it on one of their monitors in studio)…

…and they come back from a commercial with Dave Matthews’ “Crash” as the bumper music, saying it was “our tribute to David Zabriskie…” Had to laugh, even though it was a tough situation.

Anyone else find it odd that Boonen didn’t have show covers?

Probably did not want his kit to clash as there was not enough time to have them made up in green!
