I came back late Tuesday night from a fantastic vacation in Europe. I spent the first 5 days in Germany to visit family and friends, and the last 5 days in Italy on the Island of Elba.
Here are some images:
With my friends Sabine and Sabine in a cool 70’s bar in Ravensburg, Germany
At the breakfast table of my hotel St. Stefano on the Island Elba
About to hit the Sansone beach on the Island of Elba
Life is beautiful on the Biodola beach
I just could not stay away from bikes. These very cool 1918 bikes were in an antique store
Nice, I’m planning a spring training trip to Elba early next year. I figured lots of open water swims, mountain biking and trail running. What d’ya reckon? It sure looks nice in the pictures. Was it very busy/touristy?
No problem. Yeah people come here for all sorts of reasons: great sport fishing, Kona coffee, see the volcano, oh and there’s some sort of race in October or something…kj
Every decade has cool design icons. But, do you think that someone who is not even 17 is in a position to know what is cool and what 70s ? The milk has not dried on his lips. In his age I was shagging girls. He sits opposite a keyboard all day and tell us what is cool. Please Ze Gopha give me a break.
I’d reckon to go in June as July and August are apparently crazy because of too many tourists. Swimming there was awesome but I don’t know about the trails there.
My hotel was in a stunning location and very reasonable at less then 80 Euros a night with breakfast.
I’m sure I’ll go back again.
