IM Wis 2005 registration is open now

It seems to have opened 30 minutes early for some reason.

Good luck!

How quick did this fill up last year?

I would give it to no more than 8 PM today.

Anyone have ideas for good places to stay? Close and clean preferred. Clean optional.

If it fills up that quickly, would they (or any other IM race) consider having 2 races at different times during the summer.

There’s only like 7 US IM-distance Races (i think). Everyone’s complaining about the over-crowding, so theinterest must be there.

I think I will skip until they find something to due with the bike packs and farmers. I see the bike situation as an accident waiting to happen.

Does the college division have reserved spots, or is it simply general entry?

Looks like online entry officially closed after only being open for 10hrs. Good thing I prefer sprint races…that’s just nuts.

There are reserved spots for the collegiate division, I had thought about doing it a couple times the past few years, but already graduated. Might be a good way for some of you to still get in.

I would reccomend the Hotel Ruby Marie. I stayed there this year and it is a very nice bed and breakfast across from the lake about 2 blocks from Manona Terrace. It is a rennovated train stop inn with a lot of charm. The rooms are beautifull with very comfortable beds. It is reasonably priced with breakfast included. I rented a car but only used it to drive from the airport and back. I should have just got a cab.
